Keeping cricket free
12/9/05: We've received the following e-mail from Jim Benton-Evans concerning Sky's monopoly on cricket coverage. Are we being too cynical to think that the current hype about cricket may have something to do with Rupert's minions?
Keep Cricket Free
Many of you will know that, after Monday, home test cricket moves to Sky for at least the next three seasons.
I am part of a campaign to try to get the government to return test cricket to terrestrial television. Can I urge and encourage you to visit www.keepcricketfree.com, to sign the petition and to forward this to as many of your friends and contacts who might conceivably be interested?
Please do contact me if you would like further details about the campaign.
Jim
